Bohermeen Celtic 2-2 Borora Juniors
Borora juniors went to Bohermeen last Sunday with hopes of a second promotion in two seasons, and were extremely unlucky to be held to a draw. The visitors dominated possession throughout the first half and created several good goal chances. A slick passing move involving Brion O’Reilly, Sean Behan and Caoimhin Cussen resulting with Eanna Bennett smashing home the opening goal from the right side of the penalty area. Borora continued to dominate and soon after won an indirect free kick which Behan passed to Daniel Stafford to drive home through the home teams defense. Borora 0-2 up at halftime.
The home side continued to dominate possession in the second half and should have killed off the opposition however to their credit never gave up and scores to lucky goals late on to take an undeserved point from the fixtur. Plenty of good work from Borora with amazing teamwork, passion, passing and skill on display for the entire squad available on the day, many playing their second game of the day.
This squad represents everything good about this club and their dedication and efforts all season deserve better than a third place finish. Thanks to all involved for a wonderful season of league football
