Borora Juniors u15 travelled to Drogheda on Sunday morning and came away with the three points. The visitors started brightly and soon created openings . A smart lobbed finish over the keeper by Èanna Bennett gave Borora the lead. Soon after the home team levelled after a clever free kick hit the post and rebounded to the striker goal a tap in. Borora pressed again with some fantastic passing moves leading to Shane Bennett and Sean Behan finding the net before halftime to leave it 1-3 at the break
The second half went in a similar way as Borora dominated possession and passed their way up the pitch creating plenty more chances. One such attack led to a free kick to the visitors which Daniel Stafford finished superbly to the top corner. Cathal Donoghue runs from the left wing continued to cause panic in the home defence and he set up Eoin Gilsenan for a fifth. Drogheda scored a consolation goal late on but the visitors fully deserved the three points. Amazing performance from the entire team
