Borora Juniors 4-1 Dunshaughlin youths
Borora Juniors youths continued their winning streak on Sunday with an emphatic victory over Dunshaughlin. The visitors began the game better and borora were thanksfull for Leo Fitzgerald in goals who kept the score to zero for long spells . After one such attack the visitors took the lead as a cross which was going wide fought the win and somehow managed to go Into the goal. Borora pushed back and from a Keelan Sheridan corner the visiting keeper palmed it into the net for the equaliser. This gave the hosts heart and encouragement going in at halftime level 1-1.
Jack Shalvey replaced Sean Behan at halftime and soon scored his second goal in two games as he let fly from distance and hit the top corner. Not to be outdone his midfield partner Lochlann O’Reilly hit Borora’s third goal and got the fourth heading in another corner from inside the box. Top defensive work from Mitchell, Quinn, Glassas, Smyth and Oisin Sheridan kept the visitors at bay. The midfield of Reilly, Behan,. Williams Shalvey, Jameson , McGarry and Keelan Sheridan worked tirelessly all day to provide opportunities for Bennett and Wearon up front.
